Bike, walk, bus or run to the Trail Loppet and receive a free brat

To encourage participants to think about driving alternatives – and because with big registration numbers parking will be limited – the City of Lakes Nordic Ski Foundation is rewarding individuals that find alternative means of commuting to the Trail Loppet.

Biking, walking or jogging can be an excellent warm-up for the race and a bike corral – sponsored by Penn Cycle - will be available to make life easier for bikers. Each individual who uses alternative transport (that is, does not drive in a car to and from the event) will receive a coupon for a free hot dog or brat after the event.  Metro Transit Route 9 provides service to the area.

For those who cannot take alternative transportation to the event, please consider car pooling. It will be easier, more fun and it is better for the environment.
